Barbara was a primary school teacher for thirty years, after which she worked for a decade in a
NFP organising grants for Overseas Aid projects in third world countries such as South Sudan,
the Philippines and Burkina Faso.
She is originally from Griffith, spent 25 years in Sydney and moved Berry in 2017
after her four children left home.
She joined Zonta because she wanted to help disadvantaged women and girls in the Shoalhaven, and support Zonta projects worldwide, as well as widening her social network in the local area.
As well as Zonta, Barbara loves reading, Bridge, and spending time with her nine grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
